Great Spring bull sale at Meadowslea with a complete clearance of 121 bulls with a new spring sale record price of $9000 for lot 4 to Mt Mable Stud Hawkes Bay.
Another top 2yr bull lot 27 sold to Turihaua Stud Gisborne for $8000 while the top price yearling lot 55 sold at $7000 to James Turner of Hawkes Bay.
The 23 Angus 2yr beef bulls averaged $4570 while the 13 2yr Dairy Bulls averaged $2700.
In the Yearling section the 38 Beef bulls averaged $3050 with the 21 Dairy bulls averaging $2280. The 25 2yr Hereford Dairy bulls averaged $2750.
