3/4 Romney x 1/4 Texel Catalogue

This is the second year we have had this breed for sale.

We have bred them in response to client feedback asking for a stabilized breed with around 1/4 Texel. Clients who have been using 1/2 Texel rams for a full generation had attained a ewe flock around 1/4 Texel and wanted to stabilize at that.

These sheep have all the structure, bone, constitution, mothering abilities and fertility of our purebred Romneys, but the dash of Texel gives them another dimension in terms of easy doing, early maturity and yield.
